The Kid From Akron
The kid from Akron is who he claims to be but we know him as King James. This is who you’ll come to learn about throughout my website. I'm going to take you through the upbringing and current reality for one of the most influential athletes to play the professional sport of basketball and also show how his leadership and skill on the court shaped him into the star we see today. You can expect to learn how he became “King James” and how he’s been able to do so much for the sport on and off the court while also maintaining the longest career we’ve seen from a professional athlete.
Learning About Our Idols
My goal isn’t to not only discuss Lebron James and his achievements on and off the court but to also give you a chance to understand who he is as a person. We often see our icons and those we look up too in a way that blurs reality and the nature of life, meaning we don't see what they’ve been through or have sacrificed to get to where they are now. I think this is a great way to humanize a person of stature, simply getting to know them outside of the bright lights and media exposure allows for a more personal understanding of who our idols really are.
